Foreign Rights Executive/Manager

Our client, a well-established gift book publisher is looking for a Foreign Rights Executive/Manager to join their team. Based in Hertfordshire and easily accessible from north London, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Foreign Rights Executive to develop new international sales opportunities.

 

Key duties:

  • Responsible for developing profitable sales and growth in designated territories
  • Maintain strong relations with existing and new clients including international travel
  • Developing effective strategies for each territory and prospecting for new opportunities
  • Conduct market research, monitor competitor and partner activities
  • Set budget and monitor sales process ensuring profit targets are achieved

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Established experience in international rights sales in a book publishing environment, ideally trade
  • An understanding of co-editions sales and ideally experience in selling co-editions
  • A proactive approach and business acumen
  • First-class communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly
