About the role:

The Sales Coordinator is a new position in Academic sales with the aim of supporting and driving forward our business in the Nordics, Benelux and Switzerland.  It will be a highly varied role, with a mix of sales support work, account management, and new business development.

The role is to primarily provide customer-facing support for the senior sales manager based in the office and the senior sales rep who is field-based and to a lesser extent partners in the region.  This will require a high level of organisation, confidence, and problem-solving skills to ensure that our library business in the region runs smoothly.

The Sales Coordinator will be pivotal for helping drive our ebooks and journals business in the region.  This will involve maintaining existing deals, renewing existing business, and with some opportunity of travel to the region.

About you:

It’s essential that the Sales Coordinator has a high level of organisation in order to balance such a wide range of customers, systems, and tasks.  The Sales Coordinator must have strong numerical skills, as well as an affinity for data manipulation in Excel, and an ability to work well across a wide range of Press systems.  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to form strong relationships with internal and external colleagues, and have an inquisitive and persistent approach to solving problems. Proficiency of any languages in the region is an advantage.
