Acquisitions Editor – DK Children’s 

Would you like to be part of a team creating a global Children’s publishing list that spans different genres, formats, age ranges and subjects?

Are you experienced in commissioning, planning, editing and briefing books?

DK, a world leader in illustrated non-fiction publishing, is expanding its Children’s list, and we are looking for an Acquisitions Editor to work within the Children’s Division. 

Your responsibilities will include acquiring new titles and pitching new ideas, working with both in-house teams, packagers and freelancers to create high quality books that appeal to our consumers, and championing new titles and approaches with our global sales and marketing teams. 

If you are a self-starter, enjoy working with agents and authors, have great contacts, a good visual sense, excellent project management and budgeting skills, a great eye for detail, perform well under pressure, and thrive on spotting new trends and developing commercial ideas, we’d love to hear from you.
