Export Sales Executive ─ Books

Egmont UK has an exciting opportunity for an Export Sales Executive to join the Group Sales team.

 

Reporting to the Head of Export Sales, the primary function is to provide an excellent service to our distribution partners and commission agents across the world. It involves resolving sales queries, stock checking, processing orders on internal systems, as well as communicating all marketing and publicity activities and updates. Preparation and dispatching of sales materials and presentations as well as organising the department’s overseas sales trips and Book Fair attendance is also part of the remit. Some additional smaller territory management responsibility will form part of the role.

 

The successful candidate will first need a positive can-do attitude, an eye for detail and the ability to multitask, as well as being a quick learner of new systems and processes, highly organised and possess good people skills. Naturally, you’ll also need good computer skills, especially MS office, PowerPoint, database and excel spreadsheet skills as well. Experience in an international sales environment, ideally in publishing or bookselling is desirable.
