Sales Co-ordinator

Hay House UK, publisher of health, personal development and mind, body and spirit books, products and online courses, is seeking a dynamic Sales Co-ordinator. Based in our London offices, the successful candidate will report directly to the Sales and Operations Director.

You will work on all aspects of sales administration, including but not limited to:

  • Working closely with our freelance sales force and export agents to maximise sales of Hay House titles
  • Liaising with key customers including Amazon, WHSmith, Waterstones, Gardners and Bertrams
  • Working with special sales accounts to maximise sales opportunities
  • Daily communication with our distributor, TBS/GBS
  • Co-ordinating with our overseas offices
  • Order processing
  • Preparation of all sales materials and kits
  • Preparation and circulation of departmental reports
  • Attending relevant sales and marketing meetings
  • Departmental administration

The ideal candidate for this varied role will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in sales administration in a publishing environment, will be organised and self-motivated, have excellent communications skills, a keen eye for detail and must be a team player.

Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential, and a sound working knowledge of Nielsen Bookscan, BiblioLive and ONIX will be an advantage.
