Inside Sales Representative Corporate

Our client, a leading scientific publisher, requires an Inside Sales Representative who will be responsible for developing new business, manage existing accounts and maintaining ongoing client relationships. You will be asked to achieve client and revenue targets including retention targets within an assigned territory remotely. (e.g. by phone or online).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell into new and existing customers BtoB Corporate
  • Be constantly learning and improving upon your understanding of the relevant sets of products that are sold to the user base.
  • Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge with the wider team.
  • Own the flow of leads through our lead channels including events, web leads, inbound phone leads, referrals, Divisional driven leads etc.
  • Cold call prospective lists of clients who have been identified as potential targets.
  • Pre-qualify potential leads.

Skills & Experience: 

  • Ideally with a minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Proficiency in English is paramount; a second European language is preferred
  • Desire to succeed
  • A self starter who is not afraid of taking the initiative and generating their own ideas on how to grow the business and find new business
  • A resilient self starter who is motivated to overachieve against target
  • Excellent sales and prospecting skills
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Positive, Friendly attitude, Enthusiastic and energetic
  • Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
