Key Account Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s fastest growing travel publisher. You will be responsible for managing key relationships with book retailers, wholesalers and a freelance sales force to maximise sales whilst also growing new business. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, passionate sales person and team player with good admin and communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Key duties:
- Manage a range of existing customers
- Develop new business opportunities outside the traditional book trade
- Manage and motivate a team of freelance sales reps
- Regularly report on activities and monthly sales figures
- Provide customer and competitor feedback
- Work closely with the internal sales & marketing team to enhance existing products and develop new ideas
- Attend relevant trade events
Experience / skills required:
- Proven sales track record
- Knowledge and interest in the book / travel industry is highly desirable
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
