Simon & Schuster UK is part of one of the biggest publishing groups in the world, with sister companies in the US, Australia and India. In addition to publishing a wide mix of literary and commercial fiction and non-fiction, and an award-winning Children’s list, we also provide sales and distribution services to several Client Publishers from the US and the UK. 

 

Job Profile:

As Client Sales Executive you will be responsible for providing support to the Client Publishing Department.

 

The Role: 

Reporting to the Head of Client Publishing, you will be responsible for managing schedules; loading & presenting new titles to the sales teams; creating & distributing sales materials; sales reporting & analysis; preparing presentations for customers, Simon & Schuster, and external clients as well as liaising with Client Publishers.

 

The Candidate Profile: 

We are looking for a driven individual who can demonstrate strong commercial and analytical skills. You should have an awareness of the UK and international publishing markets, with an understanding of the needs of different client publishers. You should always be willing to take on new challenges, be flexible and determined to succeed. You will have the ability to multi-task and be comfortable working on your own, as well as part of a team. Good IT skills will also be preferred (MS Word, Excel and Outlook), an eye for detail and accuracy is vital, along with strong organisational skills. A “can do” positive attitude is a must.
