EVP Business Development – Digital Content Solutions

A leading global digital content solutions provider is looking for an Executive Vice President for Business Development to take overall global responsibility for sales, marketing, partnerships and product communication.  This is an incredible opportunity for a high calibre candidate to join a cutting edge market leader.

The EVP Business Development will have global responsibility for ensuring all elements of business development are connected and in line with companywide objectives.  Key responsibilities will include;

  • Developing a go to market strategy for sales and marketing for all products.
  • Managing sales and marketing teams globally.
  • Developing partnership structures and processes.
  • Setting clear goals for direct reports.
  • Delegating authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
  • Setting expectations of targets across the group.
  • Working closely with the exec team to build processes that are optimal.
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients in the market to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Managing relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Managing the RFP pipeline for advance products.
  • Identifying and planning how to sell to new markets.
  • Conducting regular coaching and counselling with the team.

 

To be considered for this role you must display relevant sales and marketing experience as well possessing a proven track record in a software product company.  The applicant will have strong digital and international sales & marketing experience.  Excellent written and oral communication is essential as are strong social and presentation skills.  It would be desirable if the candidate has experience and a strong network within the publishing industry.
