Press and Marketing Manager

This new post will oversee the day to day work of the University of Huddersfield Press, and contribute to the development of the Press in the future. The role includes oversight of the production of books and journals, including liaison with authors, editors and all parts of the supply chain.
Degree educated, you will have experience of academic publishing, copy writing, managing budgets and working to multiple deadlines. An understanding of open access publishing is essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, and you will need to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders from authors to technical developers.
