ELT Sales Consultant

£25,000 p.a. - £31,000 p.a. + car + bonus

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our English Language Teaching (ELT) business for someone who is interested in supporting the Press in delivering personalised learning and complete learning solutions in a growing global market.​

This is a home-based role and as such ideally you will be based in the South West or North of England.

You will sell and market the prestigious Cambridge ELT product range.  You will be part of a team involved in a variety of sales and promotional activities including visits to bookshops and educational institutions, product presentations and attending exhibitions and conferences.

You will undertake representational calling on ELT institutions and bookshops, exhibitions and conferences product knowledge, customer base development, product after-sales feedback, record-keeping of visiting activity and expenditure, monthly reporting.

More specifically, you will:

  • Devise and carry out a personal travel plan for the sales territory based on prioritised customer opportunity lists and requests for visits.
  • Mount and staff exhibitions, advising teachers and assembling further sales leads; deliver promotional or training talks.
  • Research key contacts and establish productive links; obtain market and competitor knowledge.
  • Maintain CRM records, to be used as a sales planning tool.
  • Familiarity and competence with office internal procedures.
  • Submission of monthly reports following standard format.
  • Observe expense accounting procedure rigorously and to time, including business car miles.
  • Diverse promotional and administrative duties as shall be found necessary from time to time.
  • Participate in Sales Conferences in Cambridge and elsewhere as required.

To perform well in this role, you will be a passionate advocate for the role an ELT Sales Representative plays at the Press and be keen to add value.
