Publicity Manager, Maternity cover
John Murray Press, the award-winning division of the UK’s leading book publisher Hachette UK, are seeking a talented communications professional to join our team as maternity cover for up to a year. You will be responsible for securing innovate and widespread PR coverage for titles across our list of bestselling and prize-winning fiction and non-fiction, as well as working closely with your marketing and sales colleagues to lead teams that drive and deliver fully integrated campaigns.
You will have good experience in book PR or within a comparable industry, as well as a working knowledge of marketing processes. You should have proven experience of people management, excellent communication skills, a passion and track record for delivering creative and highly effective campaigns, and an ability to motivate themselves and their team to deliver quality work to deadline in an efficient, organised manner.

This role is flexible in terms of part/full time and start date.
