We are looking for a creative Marketing Executive to join our friendly, supportive and inclusive marketing team to work on standout campaigns for titles across Farshore’s fiction, picture books, non-fiction and brands titles.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, be a proactive team player and bring enthusiasm in executing creative marketing campaigns, especially digital, with confidence to present to internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercially focused and strategic marketing campaign plans

  • Assist with briefing of media activity both in-house and to external agencies.

  • Manage the development of digital and printed marketing materials

  • Assist with the management of Farshore’s social media platforms, including creating and implementing creative content regularly, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok

  • Liaise with authors, illustrators, licensors and designers to produce compelling digital content such as videos, GIFs and graphics.

  • Develop paid and organic influencer marketing campaigns

  • Assist with the management of assets on the Farshore Amazon Store

  • Assist with the production of eye-catching sales materials for titles; design, artwork, print and distribution to bookshops

  • Plan campaigns, with contingencies, in order to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget to maximise consumer awareness and sales

Skills and Experience Required

  • Knowledge or experience of a marketing role

  • Keen interest and passion for children's books and the Farshore brand

  • Knowledge or keen interest in the publishing industry

  • Solid knowledge of social media and digital platforms

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of the consumer journey
