Academic Institutional Sales Manager

We’re looking for someone with fantastic experience selling digital e-books and solutions to the higher education and university market to take on this Institutional Sales Manager vacancy with a leading academic publisher.

With the ability to be located anywhere in the UK, the key responsibilities of this position will include developing strong relationships with key decision makers and be able to consult with them on the type of digital solution that will work best with their institution. You will have excellent knowledge of vendors, e-book platforms and the digital textbook market. Experience with Custom Publishing Solutions would also be advantageous. You will be able to support the work of the field sales team by following up on digital leads.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills will be absolutely essential for this role. This role will also require a large amount of travel during term time and a clean driving license is preferable.
