Academic Marketing Manager
We have a great opportunity for someone to work as a Marketing Manager on a world leading range of Social Sciences books for a publisher in Oxfordshire.
Key duties:
- Lead the planning and execution of annual marketing activity
- Act as primary contact for the editorial management group
- Manage and support team members and ensure that overall strategies are understood
- Be personally responsible for marketing campaigns in one area of the list
- Prioritise marketing effort appropriately and monitor and report on results
Experience / skills required:
- You must have previous marketing experience, ideally within publishing
- A good understanding of academic publishing is required for this role
- You will have a proven track record with subscription-based marketing
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills are required
- An interest in the Social Sciences would be of an advantage but is not essential
