Account Manager

A fast-growing digital content provider is looking for an Account Manager to assist in managing their expanding customer base. This home-based opportunity is a newly created position, and would suit a proactive and resourceful digital publishing professional.  

 

Key duties:

  • Manage the delivery of a portfolio of software and service-based digital publishing projects
  • Manage and administer an account base of 15+ customers, including academic publishers
  • Streamline and automate existing production workflows and define new ones
  • Provide pre and post-sales support to senior management
  • Act as technical liaison between the customer, production and 3rd party technology providers
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, and coordinate production workflows between partners and customers

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Excellent project and customer management skills are essential
  • Experience of independently managing projects on time and to budget
  • First class communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain successful client relationships
  • Previous experience of digital publishing, with a knowledge of print processes, XML-based digital composition and publishing workflows highly desired
  • Experience working with digital asset management, and content management is advantageous
  • Previous knowledge of eBook formats and devices is highly desired
