Account Manager (Corporate/Pharma)
Our client, a global publisher, requires an Account Manager to grow a portfolio of corporate accounts in the Corporate/Pharmaceutical sector.
The role involves selling media solutions primarily to Pharmaceutical Companies. As such, experience of working for a Pharmaceutical company is essential and a knowledge of media sales would be a big advantage.
This is a pivotal role, designed for a self-motivated, creative, and highly organized individual. You will have a strong track record in sales, excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills, a sound understanding of developing new strategies and promotional plans, and a pro-active approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting sales targets and delivering profitable sales growth
- Building multi-level business relationships with our customers through regular visits, calls and correspondence
- Developing and implementing strategic customer account plans
- Managing sales budgets and forecasts
- Build and convert pipeline of new business
- Maintain accurate records on company CRM system
- Keep up to date with industry news and trends through reading relevant material, attending relevant events and through your communications with your network of contacts
- Use knowledge of industry to contribute to product ideation.
Skills & Experience:
- You will need to demonstrate proven account management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector and/or publishing sector.
- Experienced in successfully managing top tier key accounts
- Results orientated, with an attachment to numbers, budgets, margins and sales results
- Outgoing, confident and positive nature, able to build strong and long-lasting business relationships
- Skilled negotiator and communicator. Able to lead, influence and guide others at all levels
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good time management; a self-starter able to work autonomously.
- Full driving licence
