Account Manager, Information Services
Based in the centre of Brighton, our client is a growing software development company and they are looking for a talented Account Manager to develop and maintain relationships with their publishing clients. The successful candidate will also act as the client’s representative within the company and will identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and work with project managers and the delivery team to aid the smooth delivery of client products.
Within the role, the Account Manager will also work with the sales team to help identify new business and will maintain and update the CRM system. The Account Managers must understand their clients’ business objectives and be willing to travel to attend meetings, conference and events to gather market knowledge, network and meet with their clients.
The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent with demonstrable experience within the STM publishing sector. They will be an independent self-starter with experience of managing and growing customer accounts, delivering digital products to the market and presenting to board level. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must and the successful candidate will be able to influence decisions and be able to identify and close business opportunities.
