Account Manager (Legal)

An established legal publishing company in central London has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to sell on a leading industry magazine and online platform. The role involves selling across print, online and conferences to an international audience. The ideal candidate will have a law degree/qualification or experience in the legal sector/legal publishing.

 

Key duties:

  • Selling across print, online and conferences
  • Account management and new business development
  • Selling by telephone and face to face
  • Establishing strong relationships
  • Pitching clients, providing proposals and closing sales effectively
  • Conducting market and product research to understand clients, market and publications
  • Some international travel

Experience / skills required:

  • A degree/qualification in law or experience in the legal sector/legal publishing is essential
  • Ability to drive a consultative sales strategy
  • Strong organisational skills and awareness of CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Ambitious, articulate and intelligent
  • Foreign languages useful, but not essential
