Account Manager, Reprints

A positive and enthusiastic Account Manager is required by a leading international academic publisher. You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets through the global account management of pharmaceutical accounts and contribute to the global Reprints target and the journals strategy plans.

 

Key duties:

  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets for reprint sales
  • Network accounts to generate sales at European and global level
  • Call new prospects and maintain relationships with existing customers for upsell opportunities
  • Keep appraised of industry developments and publications within your account list
  • Develop relationships with pharmaceutical publication managers and medical communication agencies
  • Attend relevant conferences

 

Experience / skills required:

  • B2B sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Cold calling
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Use of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
  • Knowledge of medical publishing preferred but not necessary
  • Commercial and customer focus
  • Resilient
