Working for this prestigious global publishing house in the sales team -this is an exciting career opportunity for a self- motivated individual with great communications skills to support the sales team.
They are the team responsible for the generation and growth of sales revenue from print and digital advertising, article reprint sales and sponsored print and online content across a large portfolio of valuable, high quality academic journals. Working closely with external Pharmaceutical marketeers and the agencies that serve them in addition to Editorial, Rights, Accounts and Marketing departments, Society partners, external editors, internal colleagues both domestic and globally to drive sustained commercial sales revenue across the journal portfolio and you will provide support to the team.
• Well organized, have an eye for detail and ability to prioritize a varied and sometimes heavy workload, with strong forward planning skills
• A team player who is highly motivated to work under their own initiative and for the collective team goals.
• Passionate about customer support
• Able to demonstrate a general understanding of advertising and sponsorship
• An excellent and confident communicator at all levels.
• Proficient in Excel with a sound knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages
