Acquisitions Editor - Digital Archives

A rare and unique opportunity has arisen for an Acquisitions editor – digital archives, to join a global Academic publisher in their Humanities department to create new digital archive products and programmes.

You will be delving into the archives across History and other humanity subject areas and identifying new product ideas. You will be looking across a broad spectrum of content including; newspapers, manuscripts, printed books, correspondence, scrapbooks, ephemera, legal documents, maps, videos and more.  You will need excellent content partnership relationships along with the ability to cultivate new strategic partnerships.

The role calls for an innovative and inquisitive editor, who is enthusiastic about bring together content from a number of sources to create exciting, fresh, relevant and commercially viable products.
