Assessment Expert – maternity contract. A highly prestigious educational publisher, based a commutable distance from London, is now looking to appoint an Assessment Expert to cover a maternity contract in their busy and challenging ELT division. This role will work closely with project teams in order to create and deliver innovative assessment frameworks . Key responsibilities will include:

• Support the generation of ideas in order to create prototypes
• Brief and lead project teams in order to deliver the best products
• Deliver innovative content for courses, ensuring they are in line with examination guidelines
• Develop and maintain a strong network of writers to provide content
• Monitor, analyse and report on customer usage and data
• Ensure assessment design principles are validated through customer testing
• Keep up to date on current technology and market trends within the ELT and assessment sector
• Ensure test preparation specific products are delivered on time, budget, quality and schedule

The successful candidate for this role will have experience in and a passion for assessment and the ELT market; with experience in delivering top class assessment and test preparatory content, the job holder will have a solid understanding of the principles of English language assessment. A BA in Linguistics or Foreign Language or related field or a qualification in teaching English as a second or foreign language is essential for this role. Proven experience in developing customer focused educational products is a must as is the ability to assess the customer needs as well as those of the market.
