Associate Acquisitions Editor

Our client, a market leading educational publisher based in Singapore, has an opening for an Associate Acquisitions Editor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Editor looking to progress into a commissioning role.

Key duties:

• To support the Acquisitions team in preparing proposals for new products
• Carry out market research and keep up to date with market trends
• Help to develop new publications in both print and digital for international markets
• Support the international sales teams in supplying product information and costings
• Work with authors and colleagues to ensure products are produced on time and to a high quality

Experience / skills required:

• Previous editorial experience in K-12 publishing, ideally in Maths, Science or ELT
• Market focused and commercially driven
• Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
• Able to work well in a team and collaborate across time zones
• International outlook with excellent English language skills
