Associate Publisher

A highly respected, illustrated non-fiction publisher is looking for an innovative Associate Publisher to help generate new ideas and drive the growth of the business. This role is based in their East Sussex office.

Key duties:

• Work closely with the Publisher to grow the business
• Manage the publishing team
• Work closely with colleagues across the business including Rights and Design
• Identify new publishing opportunities and shape the list
• Monitor financial performance

Experience / skills required:

• You must have a good knowledge of the illustrated publishing market
• Sales and/or Rights selling experience is required
• You will be commercially focused with an interested in the financial side of the business
• You must have a strong desire to step up and lead a team
• An understanding of illustrated non-fiction and co-edition publishing is strongly preferred
