Senior Author Experience Specialist (Production Editorial)

Are you a production editor looking for a different challenge? A world-leading Academic and STM publisher in Oxford needs a technologically savvy, customer-focused individual to help provide support for their author services platform. This role is based in their Oxford office.

 

Key duties:

  • Support the Author Operations and Services first level support team
  • Collect, analyse and report on data related to Author Operations and Services support
  • Apply expertise and knowledge to new process design
  • Document any changed business processes
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in the intellectual property environment

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience of publishing production processes is essential for this role
  • A demonstrable understanding of the author experience is required
  • You will have a knowledge of traditional and emerging new technology-based production processes
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • An understanding of open access and STM/academic journals publishing is required
