An excellent opportunity is now available at a growing and vibrant academic publisher for a talented and driven Business Development Executive to sell a range of print and digital learning resources into higher education institutions.

The key responsibilities for this position include but are not restricted to:

• Promotion and sales of digital and print educational solutions within the allocated territory.
• Closing key adoptions of new business with emphasis on direct and institutional sales.
• Identification of significant new business and planning of strategies to win the business.
• Monitoring competitor activity across the region, inclusive of strategy and personnel.

In order to be successful in this position, the following criteria are desired:

• Proven successful experience of sales to higher education institutions with print and/or digital products.
• Ability to provide strong product demonstrations to customers.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• High levels of motivation and organisation.
• Education to degree level or equivalent preferred.
