Business Development Executive - ELT

We have a fabulous new field sales opportunity for someone with a proven track record of sales success in the educational publishing industry, to work for a leading global educational publisher as a Business Development Executive within their Central and Eastern European ELT team. This role can be based remotely in the UK or the Czech Republic.

The ELT Business Development Executive will promote key Learning ELT products and solutions for one of their flagship brands and achieve maximum sales by working closely with key distribution partners in your assigned territory and increase market share. You will also research and identify new distribution partners, ensuring accounts are set up and managed efficiently. You will also be responsible for identifying and closing Ministry business in the region.

The Business Development Executive ELT will work with key resellers, bookshops and distributors, promoting new products, deliver product training to staff, agree campaigns, maximising stock orders and negotiate best terms.  Other areas of responsibility will involve analysing competitors, identify new opportunities and successfully close business deals with large key accounts in the region, as well as attend conferences and events in the region representing the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consultative sales in the educational publishing industry, selling digital and print products.  You will have exceptional presentation and communication skills with experience of working in an ELT, Private Language School (PLS) or state school environment, with fantastic negotiation skills and the ability to be self-reliant.  Strong IT skills including MS Office, CRM and database skills are a must. 

This role carries a generous salary, bonus and benefits package including a car allowance.
