Business Development Executive - Management Trainee

Are you a recent graduate with a business-related degree and some experience within a customer service/Telephone Sales environment, or a junior business development/corporate salesperson looking for a varied and highly interesting new role?

An emerging markets financial media platform is searching for a motivated and ambitious person to join their growing and successful team. Based in London, the business development executive will be responsible for building relationships with their business clients, and work with management to support implementation of the company’s strategy.

 The role offers excellent progression into a Team Manager position through their Management Training Program.

Key responsibilities of the role will involve:

• Sales project management

• Develop new business and build relationships

• Build out sales pipeline

• Learn about financial markets in order to establish credibility with clients

• Account management and customer service

• Support company and partner events

• Assist research and editorial teams

• Support management of sales team

Requirements:

• A business-related degree is required

• Telesales or call centre experience is desired

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

• Previous experience working in a corporate environment is desired

• Excellent consultative skills with the ability to articulate a business solution to clients

• A diligent and persevering work ethic

• Strong knowledge of MS Office

• A basic understanding of capital markets is desired, but not required
