Business Development Manager - Children's Books

Our client, a leading highly respected international licensed book publisher seeks a Business Development Manager to help develop new business and manage existing accounts across mass market, non-trade and trade book sectors.

You'll be selling an unrivalled range of excellent leading licensed & character led children's book and book related products that sell well across all book and non-book markets.

You’ll be taking over an established portfolio of some leading national retail accounts and your role will also be to develop new business with national retail Key & Special Accounts within the mass market children’s book and books plus sector. It's a busy and varied role and you’ll also have the opportunity to create bespoke book packages for your accounts.

We are looking for candidates with key account management skills and mass market sales and business development experience across retail, high street and special sales accounts in what is now an established and growing market sector. You’ll need experience in selling books or toys or even DVD’s or perhaps related products.

This role would suit a commercially minded self-starter with drive, who wants to be part of a small friendly team selling children’s book products. You’ll need good communication skills and to be very commercial and target driven with the ability to motivate yourself and manage a varied workload well.

The company is based in Central London, and you'll receive an excellent salary plus generous bonus potential.
