Senior Marketing and Publicity Executive

A highly creative non-fiction publisher based in the South West, is currently seeking a Senior Marketing and Publicity Executive to join their busy and growing team working across both marketing and PR functions.

Reporting to the Strategic Development Director, the Senior Marketing and Publicity Executive will work with a team to deliver the press and publicity campaigns for a stimulating mix of publications. Key responsibilities will include:

• Write and coordinate the delivery of marketing and PR materials
• Communicate the progress of the organisation both in house and through the trade press
• Commission and evaluate market and customer research and use analysis to impact any changes in the approach

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering imaginative and integrated campaigns.  The Senior Marketing and Publicity Executive will be an excellent communicator, confident in building relationships across the board. The successful candidate will have at proven experience with a mix of marketing and publicity, preferably in a pro-active, trade publishing environment, and will be resourceful, independent and creative. They will possess good contacts and enjoy the challenge of working in a small team to achieve great publicity. Any management experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
