Children’s Commissioning Editor (Maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Editor to join the Faber children’s team and work across picture books right up to Young Adult.

The role will involve some commissioning. Ideally we want someone with an excellent track record within children's editorial, knowledge of market trends and the target readership. With well-honed editorial experience and, in line with the list's focus on editorial excellence, you will demonstrate an aptitude for structural editing and the ability to bring out the very best in authors.

This is a maternity cover, starting in January 2016, for a minimum of 9 months.
