Children's Designer

An award-winning children’s publisher, based in Oxford, is looking for an experienced designer to join their design and production team. This role will report to the Editorial and Production Manager and will involve implementing design updates, rebranding backlist titles and liaising with repro. You will be managing the books through the whole process and will also work on the production administration.

With a passion for children’s publishing, you will be an efficient and energetic designer and will be able to demonstrate a dedicated and organised approach with strong communication skills. Fluency with Quark, Adobe CS and MS Office are important and an understanding of book production systems will be an advantage.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a designer with a knowledge of Production or a Production Assistant looking for a more varied design role. This role could also be perfect for an adaptable, creative and experienced publishing administrator.
