Client Integration Expert ONIX

We have a great role, working for a global business, that requires a Client Integration Expert with a background in ONIX, to supervise the client Integration team. Provide day-to-day operational support and serve as the escalation point for associate issues. Manage key customers and assist team members with problem solving/decision-making and support for resolution of any system issues including network & FTP. You will work with the Client Integration Manager (US Based) to implement process improvement, documentation and establish and maintain best practices.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for team that supports international publisher clients.
  • This team undertakes on-boarding and training new clients, and on-going support of existing clients.
  • Role includes direct support of clients as well as team supervision.
  • Provides technical leadership and support by writing/reviewing JIRA tickets, providing priority JIRA tickets to Tier 3 team to review and implement in subsequent releases.
  • Troubleshooting any file delivery issues via FTP and working through local IT resources to resolve any local computer hardware or internal network connectivity issues.
  • Works with the Integration Manager to ensure associate goals are appropriate and that the team understands department policies, goals and initiatives and has access to all supporting documentation via Confluence or other resources.
  • Serves as the project manager working with wider content operations, sales and development teams to develop best practices and working system documentation.
  • Conducts regular updates with clients and internal associates to ensure deadlines and timelines are met.
  • Works closely with peers, to ensure effective training and rollout of new products and services, training of staff, and maintenance of training and support materials.
  • Manages the continuous improvement of the operational systems, process, and policies in support of the organization’s mission, specifically business processes, IT systems and organisational planning.
  • Coordinate weekly status meetings and provide detailed progress reports on publisher integrations and key department or company initiatives.
  • Provides technical assistance to facilitate publisher interaction and platform improvements

Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor Degree and 3 years’ experience in an operational or project management role, within the publishing or wider digital data industry.
  • PRINCE2 – Desirable
  • Ability to manage and lead complex integration projects.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments, located in the UK, US and Australia
  • Ability to work independently and self-report on progress.
  • Working knowledge of ONIX, XML, other mark-up languages,
  • Familiarity with database management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels within the organisation
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to apply new knowledge, technology and procedure to job responsibilities
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Project Management skills.
  • Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
