Client Integration Supervisor/Technical Expert - ONIX

We are currently recruiting an ONIX expert for a global content organisation. As a Client Integration professional with a background in ONIX, this role will provide day-to-day operational support; manage key customers and help team members with any problem-solving/decision-making issues. Working closely with the Client Integration Manager (US Based) you will implement process improvement, documentation and establish and maintain best practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for a small team which supports international publishing clients.
  • Undertaking the on-boarding process and training new clients, and on-going support of existing clients.
  • Provide technical leadership and support by writing/reviewing JIRA tickets, providing priority JIRA tickets to Tier 3 team to review and implement in subsequent releases.
  • Troubleshooting file delivery issues via FTP and working through local IT resources to resolve any local computer hardware or internal network connectivity issues.
  • Work with the Integration Manager to ensure associate goals are appropriate
  • Serves as the project manager working with wider content operations, sales and development teams
  • Conduct regular updates with clients and internal associates to ensure deadlines and timelines are met.
  • Work closely with peers, to ensure effective training and rollout of new products Manages the continuous improvement of the operational systems, process, and policies in support of the organization’s mission
  • Coordinate weekly status meetings and provide detailed progress reports
  • Provide technical assistance to facilitate publisher interaction and platform improvements

The successful candidate will have:

Relevant demonstrable experience in an operational or project management role, within the publishing or wider digital data industry. You will have a strong working knowledge of ONIX, XML and other mark-up languages and a familiarity with database management. You should have the ability to manage and lead complex integration projects and apply new knowledge, technology and procedure to job responsibilities.  This role will work across departments based in the UK, US and Australia therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
