Sales Manager / Client Relationship Manager

Are you passionate about books, audiobooks, love libraries, and technology? Our client is looking for a highly-skilled, collaborative, Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join an innovative, global leader in the digital distribution of eContent.

This is a home based role, requiring travel across the South of England, with monthly visits to the Berkshire head office. Around 75% of your time is expected to be with clients.

 

Key duties:

  • Forge strong, long-lasting client relationships

  • Provide ongoing account management and sales support to institutional customers

  • Work with clients throughout long sales cycles

  • Drive new sales in the territory

  • Ensure the growth of existing accounts.

     

     

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience working as an account manager in a B2B environment is required

  • A mature attitude, and a genuine, no-nonsense approach to your customers is essential for this role

  • You will balance high levels of empathy and customer understanding, with sales nous and the ability to push for a close when needed

  • You must possess finely tuned communication and interpersonal skills

  • You will have a proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of customers

  • Previous experience selling into the book trade, library, or school accounts would be advantageous

  • A driving passion for literature is essential for this role – you must be inspired by the latest trends in digital publishing and distribution.
