Clinical Editor

Our client, a leading publisher in the healthcare arena, is looking for a Clinical Editor to join their offices in North West London. The successful candidate will edit clinical articles and contribute to the development of a range of clinical content and resources. This is a great opportunity to join a leading organisation at an exciting time.

 

Key duties:

  • Edit clinical articles and resources to house style, ensuring it is accurate and up to date
  • Contribute to development of and assist in commissioning of content and resources and assist
  • Attending meetings and build solid relationships with key stakeholders
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of copyright law
  • Promote content through social media
  • Stand in for senior clinical editors when required

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience editing clinical/healthcare content for print and online publication
  • Knowledge of current nursing issues and healthcare industry is essential
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to represent the company
  • Understanding of how social media work
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in Life Science or English areas
