Commissioning Editor
Piatkus, part of Little, Brown Book Group, is looking for an ambitious Commissioning Editor for the business list. The imprint has a rich tradition of publishing great practical business and personal development titles, from Getting Things Done by David Allen and Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott to The 10-Day MBA by Steven Silbiger and The 80/20 Manager by Richard Koch.
As this role comes with a good level of autonomy, you will have experience of publishing books on or running a dedicated business list. We are looking for someone with strong creative and negotiating skills, market awareness and an interest in cutting-edge ideas. Desk-editing experience is also essential.
