Commissioning Editor, Mathematics

We are seeking to recruit a Commissioning Editor with a passion for education to join a highly motivated cross-functional team focusing on the UK education market.  Working within a dynamic team environment you will develop profitable blended and appropriate market-leading materials for a range of courses and examinations.

 

Tasks include identifying and initiating appropriate and profitable multi-media projects and proposals, commissioning materials on time, within budget and to a high standard, working with editorial and production teams to ensure that projects are planned, developed and managed to production and working with sales and marketing teams to ensure products are communicated effectively to market.

 

You will bring dynamism, creativity and commercial/business understanding. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and/or have experience of teaching in UK education. Experience of book and online publishing in educational mathematics is desirable. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work within teams and under your own initiative and have an excellent strategic/market sense with dedication to business growth.
