Content Editor

Are you a meticulous and skilled editor with experience of editing STEM education materials? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Content Editor to join an international Education organisation that produce digital and print materials for teachers and students around the globe. Our client is based in Scotland - easily commutable from Glasgow and Edinburgh, and this role can be conducted remotely.

This varied role of Content Editor is a 6 month fixed-term contract where the Content Editor would play a key role in maintaining and reversioning existing STEM products. Working on blended print and digital STEM education materials for US elementary and middle school students, the Content Editor will be responsible for mapping existing products to different state curricula, preparing websites and print materials for sales adoptions, and supporting the editorial, sales and marketing teams. Alongside reversioning and adapting products, the Content Editor will be updating and preparing InDesign files for reprint, as we ll as quality checking different types of content and media including films and videos.

The ideal Content Editor will have editorial experience of working on STEM curricula materials, as well as excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with science and confident to say if there's something not right.
