Content Editor, 3 month FTC || STM Publishing

Our client, a well-respected scientific/medical press, based in central London, is looking for a talented and experienced candidate to fill the important role of Content Editor within their team for an initial 3 month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will be project managing print as well as electronic products as well as researching for new editions in order to support the commissioning process. As this is a fixed term contract, you will need to be able to adapt quickly and to jump into projects at varying stages. You will be in regular communication with internal and external stakeholders including other editors, contributors and authors. You may also need to begin the commissioning process for new editions of textbooks including contract negotiations and business proposals.

For this role we are looking for someone who is available on relatively short notice and with proven experience in an editorial role. You will ideally have some experience in development or commissioning as well as some list management for titles. Excellent administrative and organisational skills are also essential for this role.
