Curricula Developer

If you are a teacher looking to use your expert knowledge of the curricula outside the classroom and eager to take on an exciting new challenge then read on! We have a fantastic role of Curricula Developer available within the Curricula team of an innovative, international EdTech company. This role offers flexible, remote working, and is a permanent, part-time position with flexibility on the number of hours worked, from 15 hours to 23 hours per week, as required.

As Curricula Developer, your main remit will be to develop progressive curricula that is aligned to various international standards. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):

  • plan, design and create academic documentation to add transparency to our curriculum.
  • update website pages with relevant education content to help teachers find what they are looking for.
  • write mathematics, spelling and grammar questions to improve curriculum and assessment coverage.
  • design and create robust and reliable maths, spelling and grammar assessments, including diagnostic tests.
  • ensure all curricula alignments and content remain up to date and stay ahead of upcoming changes and trends.
  • provide education insights and guidance to other internal teams.

The ideal Curricula Developer will have solid working experience as a teacher of the National Curriculum in England at Primary level and a great understanding and working knowledge of the Programme of Study for mathematics and English at Primary level. Experience in developing curriculum and/or creating progression frameworks or schemes of learning in a school will also be key. With strong communication and multi-tasking skills you will be confident liaising effectively and clearly with international teachers, school leaders and other stakeholders, and be in-tune with teachers and education in general, including the latest pedagogical thinking and trends. As a self-starter with great drive you will work comfortably remotely, and collaboratively. It's important you are confident using basic spreadsheets.
