Database Production Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity with one of our scientific publishing clients, who are now looking for a Database Production Manager to be responsible for their A&I products. You will manage a team of data and production experts to ensure that they have the skills and resources to take our database products into the future.The offices are based in Oxfordshire, but there will be hybrid working arrangements discussed.

In this position you will have an active role in the management of Publishing Operations more generally, including managing change and plans across the department.Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the team delivering the database production process.
  • Continuously improving processes to ensure the team stays abreast of industry trends and developing technologies
  • Monitoring costs and budgets, ensuring any external vendors are managed efficiently and fit for purpose
  • Ensure editorial input supports product improvement
  • Continue delivery of data feeds to third parties and customers as needed; reviewing improvements in automation to support these

This position will suit someone who has XML expertise, preferably in the AI space, or in the digital publishing space.
