Deputy Royalties Manager
Our client, a leading global trade publisher is seeking an efficient Deputy Royalties Manager to join their team in Oxford. Reporting into the Royalties Manager, this role plays a pivotal part of the royalties team ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures as well as driving new policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
-Deputising in the Royalty managers absence
-Responsibility for larger licensing contracts
-Maintain strong author/agent relationships as well as internally with the publishing and commercial teams
-Maintaining regular communication with key internal stakeholders
-Assisting in training and development of department staff
-Assisting with integrations of new UK acquisitions onto the Royalty system
-Maintaining and updating the Royalty system, experience with VISTA is ideal.
-Interpreting contractual information
-Producing Royalty statements
The successful candidate will be process driven with experience of working with royalties preferably from a publishing background. You will have the ability to read and understand complex contracts and possess a high attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator, highly organised, be self-motived and driven to provide excellent service to business personnel and stakeholders. This role has the potential to develop managerial status and so a willingness to progress is a must.
