Deputy Sales Operations Manager – 12 month contract

A leading trade publisher is looking for a Deputy Sales Operations Manager to manage the administrative and operational sales support work of the Sales Operations Department. The position works closely with internal teams and is a fantastic opportunity to join the leading trade publisher in a key role.

Key duties:

• Deal with orders from Key customers to ensure effective supply
• Set up contracts on a contract tracking system and Vista
• Oversee the ordering process and arrange direct deliveries from printers to customers
• Act as a central point of contact for distribution, operations, and logistics issues with distributors
• Be the point of contact for internal queries
• Monitor stock level of titles to ensure there is always adequate stock available
• Manage the direct delivery of new titles, overseeing the Sales Operations team to coordinate directs from reprints
• Lead the team to deliver high quality, highly productive work

Experience / skills required:

• Strong IT skills
• Previous experience in a Sales Operations, Logistics or Sales Support role within publishing
• Line management experience
• Experience in retail administration and in using Biblio and Vista
