We now have an exciting opportunity for a Designer to join the fiction team.

 

Reporting to the Art Director, the main responsibility will be to manage a wide variety of titles ranging from young readers through to young adult. You will work on covers for highly acclaimed authors and brands such as Michael Grant, Enid Blyton, Michael Morpurgo and our growing Classics list.

 

In addition to being a fantastic designer, you will have great organisational skills, experience with people management and have a vast knowledge of commercial publishing. You will be required to maintain schedules and deadlines; liaising closely with Editorial, Sales and production teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of work that covers all age ranges of Children's publishing - demonstrating great design, typography and confident art direction of illustrators. You'll have experience of managing illustrators and display expertise in creative suite/cloud.
