Development Editor

Our client, a professional membership body based in Central London have an exciting new opportunity for a Development Editor to support the commissioning team and deliver successful new products to the publishing list.

Within this role, you will be involved with assisting Commissioning Editors in researching business proposals, with the preparation and handover of manuscripts and liaising with key stakeholders to help ensure schedules are working to time and building those strong relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your editorial career. The successful candidate will have proven experience working within the editorial department of a publishing organisation, building key stakeholder relationships and managing schedules. You will have excellent attention to detail, be a strong communicator and able to manage multiple different projects.
