Development Editor, Primary Maths, Education, Oxford

Our client, a leading publisher of highly successful educational programmes based in Oxford, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Development Editor to join their Primary Maths team. The role calls for a motivated editor to work on high-profile Primary Maths resources across both print and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include developing manuscripts from concept to completion and liaising with freelancers, authors and suppliers. You will also be responsible for managing projects to publication ensuring they are kept to schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills as well being a strong communicator and efficient team-worker. A keen eye for detail is essential as well as the ability to solve problems creatively. A thorough grasp of the Primary schools market is also desirable with a background in maths being essential.
