Digital Commissioning Editor
We are looking for a driven commissioning editor to join the Higher Education department of a global educational publisher to help shape their digital strategy. This role is based in their Berkshire offices, an easy commute from Reading or London, with the option for home working one day a week.

Key duties:
- Undertake market research to identify potential new opportunities
- Propose and implement a digital strategy
- Develop and launch new digital products alongside print
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, and the wider Editorial teams
- Oversee and coordinate the work of junior members of the team
Experience / skills required:
- Prior commissioning experience within publishing is highly preferred
- A good understanding of educational publishing is required
- Experience of Higher Education publishing is preferred
- Proven commercial and business acumen
- Prior experience developing digital products is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills are essential
