Digital Learning Strategist

Digital Learning Strategist – Higher Education. A leading global educational publisher is looking to appoint a Digital Learning Strategist to join their higher education division. Based in the South East, their offices are a commutable distance from London.
Responsible for the overall design, development and execution of digital products or services in a number of HE markets, you will provide expertise in learning applications and design. This role will collaborate with end users to ensure that the product vision is ultimately delivered in the best possible way to suit the needs of students and lecturers. 
The Digital Learning Strategist will work with multimedia vendors, technology teams and external experts in user experience and learning design.
You will ensure that overall project goals and deliverables are met, managing project schedules of all workstreams and ensuring timely and well budgeted launch to market.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Understanding  platform and technology capabilities
• Ensuring products and services are designed with the learner at the centre
• Working closely with Product Managers
• Undertaking close competitor analysis
• Co-ordinate content acquisition for digital products
• Working closely with field based teams

This role requires a high level of digital enthusiasm and a willingness to stay close to and engage with a constantly shifting digital landscape in higher education.

You will have a keen interest in how digital can be used to support successful learning; excellent project management skills and a demonstrable record of accomplishment working as a product or programme owner on multiple print or digital products.

Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organisational skills are essential and experience of teaching in higher education and/or a good record of achievement as an instructional designer will be advantageous.
